Worshiping and serving God are the primary ministries of our church. Whether people attend our weekly worship services, come for a funeral or memorial service, join the hand bell choir, or drive up to see the outdoor ‘live Nativity’ scene before Christmas, we offer a variety of ways for people to join together in worshiping God. Service opportunities range from: collecting food and personal care items for the food pantry; working at the church’s food stand at the Waupaca County Fair; ringing bells for the ‘red kettle’ campaign; raking leaves for older members; volunteering at the Day of Hope; being part of the crew to serve or deliver Thanksgiving meals; sewing school bags; and tending the garden plots.
Our congregation partners with Samaritan Counseling Center of the Fox Valley, Inc. to provide a counseling center (here in our building) that serves the community year round. CAP Services’ offers Head Start classes for children ages 3 and 4 at our church during the school year. Alcoholics Anonymous meets weekly in our community room. We host one of the New London Park and Recreation Department’s community garden sites where residents can ‘rent a plot’ to put in a garden during the Summer.
